Dr Seow’s coaching draws on professional practice across drum set, percussion, electric bass, contemporary piano, composition, arranging, and ensemble direction. His background includes formal training in jazz composition and professional music, jazz performance, music education, contemporary performance, and practice-led research.

His teaching and coaching are informed by higher education work at LASALLE College of the Arts and Singapore Raffles Music College, ensemble and musicianship work with NUS and NTU student music communities, and research in aural fluency, ensemble pedagogy, musical judgement, rhythm pedagogy, and contemporary higher music education.
