Eugene offers one-off or ongoing lessons for students of all levels — from beginners to professionals. Lessons are tailored to your goals, pace, and musical interests.

In-person lessons are available for Drum Set and Electric Bass. Lessons must be held at a location provided by the student (e.g. your home or a booked studio). A $20 travel fee is included in the listed rates to cover transport and setup flexibility.

Online lessons are available for Music Theory and Composition & Arranging. Sessions are conducted via Zoom, Skype, or your preferred video conferencing platform.

Exam Preparation & Academic Support

Eugene has successfully guided students through a wide range of music qualifications, including:

Practical and theory exams across multiple boards (Trinity, Rockschool, Victoria College of Music, and others)

University and conservatory entrance auditions (including Berklee College of Music)

Composition portfolios, music theory assessments, and arranging projects for diploma- and degree-level study

F.Perf.ASMC – Fellowship in Performance (Percussion), Australian Society of Musicology and Composition

FVCM (Hons) – Fellowship with Honours (Composition), Victoria College of Music

BMus (Jazz Composition, Summa Cum Laude) – Berklee College of Music

Tested out of 30+ credits at Berklee via Credit by Exam (CBX), saving over USD $60,000 in tuition fees

Pending Fellowships:

FNCM – Fellowship (Electric Bass), National College of Music — Approved, submission in progress​

F.Dip.SCSM – Fellowship Diploma (Teaching), Saint Cecilia School of Music — Pending conferral
